Null is a reploid with a dual purpose: Keeping other Reploids and mechanisms on the Innerpeace space colony in working order, as well as protect against Mavericks that manage to break out on the ship. He takes his jobs very seriously, as even one slip up could mean the deaths of thousands of humans and reploids on board. However, that isn't all he's tasked with doing...
Past
Null was made, from the beginning, to serve one of the men in charge of the colony in a long-con plan to seize control and bring about a "New Age" where he alone rules- clearly taking inspiration from Master Albert and his Game Of Destiny from several years past. To protect against Null potentially defecting, his life system has been modified in such a way that his lifespan is incredibly short- if he doesn't go back to get it reset every 3 days... his life will end. As such, he can't afford to defy his orders, even if he wants to.
Behind the scenes, he's forced to help repair Maverick units that get sent out again and again to serve as propaganda dummies, and he also generally fetches things that his boss wants... by any means necessary.
As such, Null has a pretty pessimistic outlook on life, believing he will never be free from the shitty hand life has dealt him.
Current Day
Null still does all his duties as a protector and mechanic, but something is stirring in his Master's plans that makes him uneasy... a potential plan to find out a way to fuse Null with a fragment of Model W, like what happened to Pandora and Prometheus all those years ago...
...And a smitten idol reploid may be further complicating Null's life?!
