The child of the world's best superheroes, Halcyon Chikara has been the world's most anticipated up-and-coming superheroes. Using power inhibitors for the first sixteen years of their life, Halcyon has learned to fight and use their energy-based powers even under very strict limitations. And then, at age 16, they were finally released of those limits. At which point, the sudden full potential of their powers set off a combination shockwave/EMP that destroyed a block of the city. Three years later, supervillain BURST has finally entered custody, shunned by their superhero family and wrestling with a power they're unable to fully control. Disillusioned, angry, and crackling with energy, Halcyon is thrust into stopping another supervillain's plot to take over the world- and maybe, just maybe, into learning to manage their own powers and motivations.
