Summary
Lena is a college pupil and band frontwoman whose life takes a turn after she finds a strange book, which turns out to be one of the thirteen Surge books that act as gateways between Hell and Earth. She embarks on a journey that takes her into a world she never knew existed, full of demons, Devils, and mythological creatures, as well as concepts the would never expect to have existed.
Appearance
Lena is about 5'11" tall, with a heavy and broad build. She has a decent amout of muscle as well as fat. She has scruffy and thick black hair and some piercings, and pale skin with blue eyes. She wears casual gothic clothes and band marchandise, mostly from her favourite band the Rose Chalice. She will occasionally rep her own band's merch as well.
Personality
Lena is a loud and outspoken figure, who generally takes no shit from others. She may be insecure about herself, but she makes up for it by exuding great confidence in the things she isn't insecure about- mainly her creativity and musical knack. With people show knows, she enjoys being the life of the party, and will always fight for what she believes is right, which causes her to have a rebellious streak.

Story
Lena Clarke was by all means living a regular life. She was a bullied child, for being quite heavy-set and non-conforming. She spent a lot of her schooling doodling fantastical worlds and creatures in her books, often being reprimanded for not paying attention in class because of it. She pursued Art through GCSE and College in Plymouth, forming a band with her close friends called the Dropkick Devils, with minor success as they occasionally landed gigs in very small venues. When she finds an odd book in her parent's loft, things change for her drastically as her quest to understand it leads her to a world of danger and magic.
Relationships
Rory
Rory is Lena's best friend since childhood. He's two years older than her and a college drop-out, and Lena finds herself worrying about him as... despite their close friendship, Rory always seemed like there was so much he was hiding. She soon finds out what he's capable of when they set off to adventure together.
Alexa
Lena and Alexa were initially at odds, butting heads often due to Alexa's secrecy and the two's opposite ways of doing things and working. They soon develop a sisterly relationship, with Lena considering her as true family, moreso than her own parents. They find they have much more in common than they thought.
Astrid
Lena is somewhat wary of Astrid- She trusts her to an extent. Astrid's tendency to let the wind carry her and never fully solidify her loyalties means that, while she helps them in their travels, Lena believes she could turn if Astrid thought it beneficial. Either way, as much as she appreciates her for helping, she's realy for future conflict.
Eulalia
Eulalia is Lena's girlfriend in the story, a Siren who lives in safety in the Oracle headquarters. Lena found herself curious and naturally as with Sirens mesmerised by her beauty, but the true romantic connection built up slowly. She found solace in her as Eulalia would support her and take care of her when she needed it most.
Vixen
Lena finds herself initimidated by Vixen, but respects her highly. It's not often mortal humans get involved in the magical world, nor do they last long, but Vixen is one of the strongest outliers.
