Half Pegasus and Half Hippogriff, Mickey is a lifeguard who works at Silver Shoals. While life at Silver Shoals is nice, it's quite lonely. On a journey to learn more about his hippogriff half, he's made his way to Ponyville. Unlike other hippogriffs, he can not transform, and has no beak or griffin-like features.

Shark-Pop obtained his cutiemark via a strange method. As a child, he spent much of his life by the water. When he had spotted a thief run off with a pony's necklace, he had jumped into the water to chase them. Because he was so young, he wasn't very fast, but he could catch up another way... Using his wings, he pushed himself forward, into a current-- allowing him to go even faster! With the usage of his wings and tail (and the provided bonus of a strong water current,) he was able to create what seemed like a small sonic boom. The boom created the night sky to light up for a moment, to see the stars and constellations. He was unable to catch the thief, however they dropped behind the fish-hook necklace he wears now. After recieving his cutiemark, his hooves changed color, as well as rainbow colors appearing on his hair and wings.
