For all of their life, Echo has always been a wild and free loving soul. As a child, they were raised by their single mother who was eager to allow them to follow in any dreams they had. They were home schooled for most of their lives, which may seem strange until one realizes exactly why their mother chose to homeschool. You see, Echo didn't exactly come from what others might regard as aa normal background. They and their mother actually belong to a long line of practicing witches, and like like their various ancestors, Echo's powers manifested relitively early.

Now, we aren't talking tin foil hat witches, or the types of witches found in Halloween stores in October, but instead something more akin to a naturalistic witch. Echo's line was recorded going all the way back into Pagan times, where tehy often served as right hand women to Gods and demiGods. They were known for their power natural abilities, such as empathic readings, antidotes that could cure the most violent of sickness, and a keen sense of what the future may hold. These practices were upheld by Echo's coven for hundreds of years, and still maintain a firm hold to this day.

So, while Echo won't be casting any fireballs, that doesn't stop them from being a rather powerful witch. They're led with an uncanny senses, just seeming to know when it comes down to it. They never seem to get sick, and a cup of tea that they make could cure even the worst flu their friends have experienced. They simply play this off as coincedence; a healthy lifestyle helped by a "hipster" upbringing. They've never gotten close enough to anyone to spill their secrets, even if they don't exactly keep those secrets very well guarded.
