Calliope “Callie” | female | she/her

Callie is stoic and aloof most of the time, but once you manage to crack the code she is pretty much just a big goof. She has slight trust issues due to previous actions that had been taken against her when she was younger. Callie is a very skittish and withdrawn character, but once you get her talking she could go on for hours. She is very good at listening, giving her full attention to whoever she is listening to. But due to her childhood she is very wary of strangers and friends of her uncle.

Callie was born to a high ranking member of a well known criminal Cartel. Her father was the second in command and her mother lived in the nearby village, Yelapa. She was taken by her father, as her mothers parents disapproved of the tryst and she was to be married off a few months after Callie's birth. She was raised by the Cartel members as a whole, her father was often out overseeing important things that she wasn't all that privy to. When she was about the age to join the activities, her Uncle murdered her father in cold blood to take over his place, and soon the place of Head Member. However, since her father had been named Head Heir, the position moved down to her. Her Uncle didn't appreciate this, and attempt to murder her as well, prompting her to leave her village and turn to hiding. >While in hiding she met another fellow runaway, a borzoi (Kai) who wanted to get away from her parents. They stick together for a while, until they're separated in a sand storm and Callie is found by an old member who drags her back in. It turns out that her Uncle has succeeded in taking control of the cartel, and had set a high reward for her death. Before they could make it back to Yelapa, they were intercepted and the member who had been carting her along was killed. It tuns out that Kai was the one who murdered the member. They decide to return to the cartel, Kai promising to help get revenge on Callie's uncle for killing her father.
