Personality: Like typical Iolites, they retain the self-aware, redpilled and nihilistic. Unlike typical Iolites, they are not stoic. They are short tempered and can easily get emotional. Because of this and the redpill aspect, they are often in a bad mood. They can be happy though.

Physical:

Gem: A rounded Iolite gem with 2 triangular facets pointed towards the middle. The gem has lost pieces over time due to being defective

Gem Placement: Chest

Artificial Enhancements: What appears to be boots and gloves are actually robotic prosthetics. Their broken gem limits the ability to form a body. The jaw/ neck thing is basically an energy generator and connector that allows existing aspects to work at a normal or even advanced level. 

Defects: Their gem is more fragile and is prone to losing pieces.

Social:

Alignment: Neutral, has a couple friends but nothing else.

Rank: Iolites are high class, but are still owned by certain gems. Kinda like sapphires.

Gem Caste Information: Iolites were made to revise and improve plans for homeworld and make sure they’ll work. They have access to billions of documents and information records for this reason. They tend to be self-aware, redpilled, stoic and nihilistic. ALSO: Normal Iolites would not have the fancy robotic enhancements.

Backstory

Iolite was made like any other Iolite and was presumed to be normal. They were shipped off to their owner, Aquamarine to revise her plans. After a while, Aquamarine noticed Iolite’s unnatural deterioration and reported to the Diamonds. Blue and her personal Iolite were arguing about the risks of the shattering and eventually decided to exile them instead. Blue Diamond dumped them onto a failed colony where they found multiple other dangerous defects. Iolite brought them together and they began to “re-colonize” the abandoned planet.

What to remember when drawing them:

• They have blank eyes with no sparkles or anything, and no pupil.
• The dark blue parts with lines all over them are metal and robotic.
• The hair is smooth up until the shown point where it splits.
• THE. GEM. HAS. MISSING. PIECES.
• The feet come to a very sharp point. Kicks are... much more unpleasant.
