Mairmae

Years in the past, Mairmae made a deal with a demon. This demon gave her great power, and in exchange, it said it would find her when it was time for her to fulfill her side of the bargain. Naturally, it wasn't until after that Mairmae discovered that this demon was incredibly powerful - and she had made a Very Bad Decision.

Since then, she has roamed the land as a bard, searching for some clue of how to break her deal with the demon - without it finding her first.

Mairmae is unable to resist taking a risk, no matter how poor the odds - provided that she should gain something if she succeeds. And while the good of others isn't a major concern for her, maybe that can change.
