[Ci]Sloane is a pale, lightly-freckled young adult (min. 21). Her eyes are a dark blue with diamond pupils that can dilate and narrow, much like a cat's. She has slightly elongated canines that can occasionally poke out from her mouth.

[Ci]She has dark brown hair with natural highlights of red, gold, and black, and a section of hair near her face/bangs (right side) that are a gradient from fire-red to yellow-orange. The length is long, falling below her shoulders/mid-back, and either tied in a loose braid, low ponytail, or occasionally a loos bun.

[Ci]She is of average-tall height, standing around 5'7" with slightly longer-than-average arms. Her hands are tipped with sharp, hard claws that can grow to about an inch in length. She has broad shoulders.

[Ci]On the top of her head, she bares two large, feline ears with long, fluffy tips. Behind her, starting from her tailbone, is a large, long, and thick-fluffed tail. Both ears and tail are a pale brown, with splashes of slightly darker brown and cream, giving an almost lilac-carmel tortoiseshell appearance.

[Ci]The short version of her outfit can be explained as such: Venti (top) × Keqing's Opulent Splendor (bottom) × Dainsleif (dress trails???) × Kokomi (sleeves).
[Ci]Her outift is a normal length, with a teal-green top that splits into a dark blue emperor-butterfly inspired skirt. The sleeves are flowy, but not obnoxiously long, and the skirt itself is flowy as well, allowing for easiy mobility. The fabric is soft, much like a flower petal, but not quite silky? She wears a pair of slightly lighter teal-green. From the back of her skirt are a pair of scarf-like trails, abyss-dark blue with white speckles, giving the appearance of a night sky.
[Ci]On her feet are a pair of dark brown boots that are soft. They are light, and easy to run and climb in. Around her waist is a abyss-blue satchel with white speckles and ultramarine trimmings around the edges, almost appearing glowy. It has long, black straps that wrap around her twice.

[Ci]Starting from her right shoulder are flowers woven into eachother and tailing down to her wrist in a "sleeve". It has her favorite flowers from each region. So far, she's gotten Cecelia, Windwheel, Glaze Lily, Silk Flower, and Dendrobium, with Sakura Bloom Petals strewn about. She plans to add Sumeru Rose, Kalpalata Lotus, and Viparya. Lore-wise, she has all her favorite flowers from every region, buy because I, obviously, don't know all the flowers right now, I've only written these, lol.

[Ics]Oooo boy, buckle up, you're in for a show

[Ci]It started at the end. Earth, as we know it, had entered it's last days. In a desperate attempt to keep humanity alive, humans began creating portals to dimensions. If one could afford a ticket, you'd be granted entry into a small pod, where-in you'd be launched into space, then shifted into a new dimension. Most of these pods fit a handful of people. Each dimension was separate from the rest, even if the source was the same (for example, Minecraft), so you'd likely never see your friends or family again, should you not leave together.

[Ci]Anyways, with the background out of the way, let's get on to Sloane's backstory.

[Ci]Sloane had just barely managed to scrounge enough money for one of the remaining pods. She couldn't afford a ticket od her own, but she gave one to her sister... Her sister who had to be forced the pod, who had screamed and begged to stay. It broke the brunette's heart, but she couldn't let her sister, her only family, her whole world, die with the planet.

[Ci]Thankfully, an elderly woman had stepped up, offering her the ticket she had bought.

[Ci]"I don't have nearly as many years left. No family of mine remains, nor friends. Take this, and be with that girl."

[Ci]Sloane could have puked from how thankful she was. Hurriedly shoving it into the controller's hand, she lunged inside the pod. The sisters sobbed together, embracing as apologies fell from the eldest's mouth.

[Ci]And then... There was silence. In those last few moments on Earth, in their dimension, the girls swore that, no matter where they ended up, they'd find eachother, and they could be safe.

[Ci]An unknown amount of time passed before Sloane awoke. At first, like waking from a deep sleep, she didn't quite grasp anything different. But soon, the blue sky with fluffy clouds overhead, a stark contrast to her dull gray ceiling, snapped her back to reality. As she sat up with an excited shout to her sister, she couldn't help but grin.

[Ci]When her eyes found that Mae was nowhere to be seen, her face fell, happiness quickly being replaced by sheer and utter horror. Getting to her feet, she took in the scene around her. The land was beautiful, untouched by death and decay, with a gentle breeze flowing through her hair.

[Ic]It wasn't until her eyes landed on the imposing Anemo Archon statue that it truly clicked just where she was.

[Ic]Genshin, a game she and Mae had played back when the world was still somewhat liveable, back when it wasn't only the two of them.

[Ic]Without thinking, she placed a pale hand to the statue's base, and felt power course through her. She gasped. She didn't just hold Anemo... She could feel everything: the lightness of wind, sharpness of lightning, sturdiness of rock, fluidity of water, warmth of fire, coolness of ice, and freshness of grass. Though she couldn't wield more than one at a time, every element thrummed in her veins.

[Ci]It, momentarily, distracted her. Along with the twitch of an ear she didn't first realize. Another gasp escaped her as she took in her feline features, both awe and excitement causing her heart to race. She couldn't believe it, this was real!! She looked like a caramel lilac (double dilution of chocolate) tortoiseshell cat, and a small purr escaped her.

[Ci]Which made her freeze in shock, then laugh hysterically. She couldn't wait to tell Mae!

[Ci]And, just like that, her blood turned to ice. She needed to find her sister, and she needed to find her *now*.

[Ci]After running into the Traveler, and convincing them to let her tag along, Sloane essentially played through the storyquest, honing her abilities and attacks, as well as helping smooth out some things and maybe changing the storyline itself (for example, sitting down with Zhongli and telling him to talk with Childe, because they are together in this AU). The entire time the Traveler searched for their sibling, she searched for her.

[Ci]After several grueling months, they reached Inazuma, where Sloane finally reunited with Mae... Who had become some kind of elf hybrid?? She didn't question it. After that, the sisters continued to stay with the Traveler, helping them complete their goal, before bidding a tear-filled farewell to them.

[Ci]Now in custody of Paimon, the trio roam around Teyvat, doing whatever they please, essentially.

NOTE:

This is a blatant self-insert. You'll most likely want to cringe so hard that you fold in on yourself, but it is what it is. I'm proud of this character, how I've been developing her, etc. Also, a lot of this reads as OP, but I swear to god she is NOT!!! Please believe me, I've learned to make balanced OCs :'')
