shrikecry can be a very strange cat from an outsider’s perspective. he’s a deeply complex cat who prefers to keep a passive exterior - often hiding behind an aloof mask. at first, he can struggle with relationships due to this; his tone can often come across as cold and unfriendly while truly, he is an extremely loyal cat to his fellow clan-mates. once you find a friend in shrike, you can rest assured that he is with you to the end - through thick and through thin.
shrike speaks outwardly and confidently about his pride in scorchclan and his willingness to see it thrive, almost to an alarmingly strong degree. he would go to great lengths to insure that the clan is in it’s greatest form and he could be described as a morally grey character. for such a usually quiet and well-spoken cat, shrikecry takes no mercy in those that go against the laws of the clan and holds little back from making that known.
every move shrike makes seems to be carefully calculated and coordinated; his gaze is both physically and metaphorically harsh and attentive to every subtle detail. he is courageous and quite highly intelligent in such a way that could seem more dangerous than to meet his claw in battle… this is what gives him an extra edge, though could easily be his downfall as not every cat can come to a peaceful understanding with a tongue as feisty as his. shrike’s words however are often very delicately chosen with a plan behind them… quite the sneaky character indeed. although he has quite possibly dwelled on it many an occasion, he does not truly desire to be sheriff himself. but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t push for such a thing… shrikecry can be quite manipulative and daring in his own shrewd way.
