Cat/Dragon Hybrid

Shape-shifting and some magic.

Yon can shape shift between cat and dragon, and can stop anywhere in the process. In other words, they can be drawn as a dragon, a cat, or anything in between. They may also be bipedal or quadrupedal. This said, they are always lithe and thin with angular features and retain the long fur behind their ears.

As a cat, Yon is slightly smaller than average. As a dragon, they have a serpentine build and are about 12 feet long. Their hybrid form can be anywhere between these two sizes, changing depending on which form they are closer to. In their reference sheet they are about the size of a red fox.

Outwardly sharp and edgy, though somehow serene at the same time. They'll put you on edge, but say or do just the right thing to calm the tension. Although thin and well kept, and although seemingly motivated and alert, Yon is extremely lazy. They rarely shift without reason, and are most frequently in a hybrid form (as opposed to purely cat or dragon), as this is the easiest form for them to hold. Many of their actions (or lack of) are results of their laziness, and they are always searching for an easy way out. This leads Yon to formulate clever solutions that require little work or effort, but complete the task at hand. As such, many others don't recognize this behavior and instead regard their truthfully indolent actions as pragmatic, strategic, or efficient. Truly an enigmatic character.

Yon has the potential to use incredible magic, but they opt not to train much in the subject. Rather, they use the limited amount they know to pull off various card tricks and disappearance stunts. They make a fairly impressive magician, but a poor mage.
