bio

   ► personality
         ▻ a lone wolf, she's always thought she preferred being on her own (and, in her opinion, she can handle it far better than most ponies), but she can't help but desire company at times. specter loves solving puzzles and investigating mysteries. her reclusiveness makes others mistakenly believe she is timid or shy, but she really isn't, she's the first to protest if she feels like something is wrong.
   ► background
         ▻ although she is a unicorn, she's lived her entire life as a land pony. her horn doesn't work, no matter what she tries do, it just sparks and fizzles out. it doesn't really bother her, at this point in her life she's basically forgotten that she is a unicorn until her horn gets in the way.
         when she was younger, she was absolutely terrified of everything scary. graveyards, zombies, vampires, werewolves- any supernatural beast terrified her. however, she couldn't help but feel drawn to it in a sense, she was scared but she couldn't help but keep on coming back. once she realized that despite her fears, that she loves the undead, monsters and cryptids, she gained her cutie mark.
         over the years, she's started a collection. horror movies, books that tell the sightings of long forgotten cryptids, fantastical tales of supernatural beings - fable or allegedly real stories, she's gained a collection. specter found herself a home tucked up into a isolated, yet homely location not too far from ponyville and has been living there ever since.
         specter didn't have many friends. she somehow found herself befriending a travelling deer named larkspur. he became her companion as the two investigated local cryptids and supernatural oddities together. however, those suddenly stopped once larkspur took in a young colt, now that he had responsibilities under his belt, specter and larkspur have drifted a little in terms of friendship.
         one stormy night, she came out of her home when she heard wails, and found a lost alicorn. hearts o'plenty introduced herself to specter trail, and the unicorn took her in as she had nowhere else to go. from then on, the two mares have been living together ever since.
         she doubts that hearts feels the same way about her, but she's fallen head over hooves for the cute girl. it was a lovely surprise when hearts revealed to her that her name was actually hertz, and that she's a changeling. hell, she might even love her more for it. but, that's a little secret between the two.
