Ciri was born one spring evening to a white mare named Soliel in the Dale. She was marked to be different, with swirling silver eyes that told too much for a newborn child. She was happy enough in the Dale although she was looked at a little strangely due to her constant watching and saying little. The swirling of her silver eyes. She disappeared during the Reckoning only to return much later when she was 3.

Her eyes had become solid, she had forgotten much of her childhood and her birth. One day she was wandering and fell into a portal. She ended up in the cruel world of The Underneath, an upside down version of Beqanna. There she met many a foe and battled many terrors. The world was black and she saw through dragon vision. She tried to escape whatever was chasing her in the forest only to fall into the middle of it's home. Attacked by the ancient woodland spirit called a Leshen, she barely escaped the woods only to be attacked by it's legion of ravens. She battled the ravens and survived with many wounds to tell the tale. From their she traveled to the Underneath version of Hyaline's lake. There she was tempted by a vision of herself as a child. It was a siren in disguise but it unlocked a key to her memories that she had forgotten. Born of space and time, one of the stars. Using the power of subdued Equus Aura, her entire body lit up due to being under extreme threat. Her light blinded the Siren and she was able to fight it and escape.

Now the Underneath has spit her out on Hyaline's shores exactly where she had collapsed in the alternate version. She has gained the ability of Stellar Aura but is unaware of this yet. Her eyes once again swirl with time and space and she remembers her childhood and where she comes from.

Amet, Hyaline's Ruler, quickly discovered her. He was kind and protective, something she wasn't use to. Despite his best intentions, she grew sick while her wounds became infected. Jah-Lilah (another survivor of the Underneath) luckily stumbled upon her. She told Amet of what they had faced and made a healing balm for her wounds. Under Amet's gentle care, she slowly began to heal. They were both young and nervous and most of all naive when it came to love but it was clear that the two had fallen for each other and soon came to be with each other in every sense of the word. Ciri was unsure though. She loved Amet but was scared of being tied to someone when she had lived alone for so long. Was scared of letting him down and getting hurt in the process. A flirtation with Castile made her more doubtful and when she told Amet that she was unsure if she could be faithful only to him, they broke up. However, neither knew that she was pregnant with Amet's child at the time.

Heartsick, Ciri left Hyaline and went to Ischia where Jah-Lilah quickly figured out she was with child. Now more scared then ever and also alone, Ciri's sadness quickly turned to anger. An argument with Amet brought the unborn child to light as well as unspoken feelings and for a moment it seemed like things could be resolved between them. But as soon as Ciri had given birth to her son, she was suddenly swept away by a mysterious portal that magically appeared behind her and vanished from Beqanna entirely.

Ciri eventually ended up in a land called Eternal years later. Her son Jah-Lilah, and Amet had all ended up there as well and all of them had moved on in their lives. Jah had raised her son as her own and when Ciri reappeared, the two old friends now regarded each other with jealousy and pain. It was worse with Amet. Ciri was slowly starting to rebuild a bond with her lost child when the world of Eternal broke apart entirely and another portal swept Ciri back up to spare her. She landed back in Hyaline and was left there, trying to pick up the pieces of everything she had lost and left behind.

After the Eclipse she was granted companion Stars that float over her neck and backside. She met Gale when her powers returned and struck up a friendship with him. Not long after that she met Padma and Mourna and decided to travel together to find a home. They managed to make their way to the Isle and Leilan granted her a home and a position in the tundra.

Became Thane of Icicle Isle in Spring 215

In the summer of 215 she met up with Gale in the meadow after meeting Leokadia for the first time. Gale had been completely turned by the Curse at this point and eventually attacked Ciri, breaking her legs and carving her open to eat her magic before killing her. He healed her enough to bring her back to life at the cusp of death but left her in the Meadow alone with broken legs. Eventually she was found by a motley crew, Leilan among them, who brought her back to the Isle. She was able to tell Nashua that his brother had been changed while being healed by him and Obscene and spent the next months coming to terms with what had happened that day in the Meadow. After arguing with Nashua about the Curse, her stars turned from white and gold to a dark red and have yet to change back.

After her return to the Isle, she acquired a quest on the Mountain to try and unlock her full power to the stars but can only do so after protecting at least 4 others without magic. She has not touched her star shield since the day the Curse killed her. Leokadia moved to the Isle not long after and Ciri realized the feelings she had for the white pegasus but had never gotten a chance to admit them before Leokadia disappeared. In the year 217 Gale found her again and she managed to convince him to revive a mare he had recently killed but not until he had broken her wings and pressed a strange brightness into her soul, protected by his shadows and electrical magic so she is shocked every time she tries to touch it. She attempted to go to Tephra to heal, running into Lilliana by accident and ending up fleeing with her from Tephra as Gale stormed in to take it. Eventually after a conversation with Mazikeen in Hyaline, she put together that the Curse had hidden Gale's heart inside of her. She had every intention of trying to use it against him until Gale caught up with her, took out his heart, and encased her in a glacier where she was stuck for about a year.

Birthday trait for Wings Aug 2021

At the end of Spring 219 the glacier began to thaw and she was able to escape. Still incredibly angry, weak, and bitter she ended up in the Meadow. It's where she first met Kestrell and he irritated her enough to get under her skin and motivated her to return to the Mountain. The fairy there praised her and then disappeared, vague and mysterious. And then she ran into a familiar face from her past... Amet.

All her building anger, the combination of the lingering darkness the Curse had left behind, and then the confession that Amet had moved on with Jah-Lilah finally broke her apart. She became a Dark Star until the fairies words became more clear and her unused power finally reunited with the stars above. She remembered what and who she was for good this time and truly became a Star turned Mortal. In doing so, she also ended up casting Amet into the black hole she had created and he disappeared into the abyss until she can figure out how to release him... If she even wants to.

Appearance
Smoky black with black mane and tail covered in starlight. Silver eyes that hold shooting stars in them. Starlit wings. Scars that all over her body, three long claw marks on right shoulder, long scar beneath her eye across right cheek all gained from her time in the Underneath. Stars hover all around her, gained from when the light returned to BQ after the Eclipse and an apology from the stars for leaving her in the dark. Heavily scarred along her front legs where the Curse broke them and across her chest where the Curse has ripped her open multiple times. Starlight shines through her scars.
