Riv knows no wild life. While she could be released back out into the wild, it would take quite a few years for her to get the hang of wildlife and survival.

Riv has an owner, Tamarin. To Riv, Tamarin is all she knows. While some could say he’s like a father figure, it’s more of a strong loyalty towards him.

Even without the use of words, Riv is a very stuck up and spoiled Karkadann. Ever since she was young she had been treated like royalty, and thus will only expect the best. She has a pretty harsh disliking towards new ptithians that aren’t her master, Tamarin. She’s likely to attack a stranger if she senses her master is uncomfortable in their presence. This “attack” won’t actually trigger unless Tamarin so commands it. Otherwise, she’ll shove you away with her horn or sit infront of Tamarin and growl.

“A friend of yours is a friend of mine” is a quote Riv listens to very well. If she catches a repeated pattern of Tamarin being relaxed or calm around another ptithian, she’ll let her guard down.

Once Riv’a guard is down (besides sleeping) she’s still very reluctant. Touch is a pretty iffy topic to her, but her personality isn’t too cold. She can be quite sweet, and will give up essentials such as food or water that she carries within her saddle to those who need it. Only those Tamarin consents to, though.

But, despite her loyalty to Tamarin, she’s been spoiled rotten to the point where if all that affection drains away she would kill him.
