Originally from a small and poor, clan coming from the darkest part of the forest, she was always considered a unreachable beauty. She had the best sight and detail catching of the clan, so she was the one in charge of the sentinel role and spent her days flying over the territory looking for possible danger. Anyone coming near that zone was roared against or even attacked by her. One day she met a stunning, tan coloured lionie flying around and she fell in love. He was a rogue and kept saying how much he wished to finally join a clan, and they met again the following days until she decided one day to tell him to follow her in the woods so that he could meet the clan. She didn't know though that he was actually in a thieves pack and when she brought him in their village, he was being followed by his "pals". They destroyed everything, killing or hurting every lionie who tried to stop them, and when Zula tried to do something her love, who did not know the plan and was in love with her as well but at the same time he cared of the pack as a family , attacked her making her fall down of a tree and breaking her wings. Once the thieves pack finally left, she was the only lionie still alive of her clan, but she was basically dead inside. She now lives as a rogue together with Xi Shi and just wants to leave her backstory behind and live a calm life. After the events she's not the fierce but gentle lionie she was, but she's pretty much a scaredy cat and is often in tears. She relies on Xi Shi 100% since she was the one to heal her wounds and they together like to sleep under the sun or to swim in the ponds. In exchange, Zuu cooks for both of them! Thankfully Xi Shi doesn't mind and actually likes to help her. Lately however they were finally found and caught by the tribe reigning over those areas, but instead of being punished or worse the leader Walyer decided to give them a hand and make them part of the group instead! Maybe because she's very compassionate and just, but also maybe because she was already eyeing her now girlfriend Xi Shi. Zula doesn't mind her and actually really likes her and trust her, and is also quite intereste by the extremely shy younger sister, Nohea. Zula still has a lot of work to do to go back to how she was and she'll probably never will, but lately she's thinking that maybe this new her, with a few tweaks, is just as good to her.
