Newt

Plant Form: 

A thick and hearty root plant with vivid large blue flowers. 

This plant is always spotted in a bed of lush plants, even if the surrounded land outside of its root reach is relatively sparse. 

Little do most animals know but Newts roots supplies nutrients into the ground when hibernating. 

While this might leave newt a little worse for ware when he wakes up he considers it a low cost for helping the wildlife around him.

Humans are perplexed about this plant- spotting of it are rare and world wide. How the seeds travel so far - humans can only speculate.

Inventory: 

Newt is rarely found without his signature scarf, brown ash-wood wand, and a very used brown leather notebook.

When traveling you can sometimes spot newt caring a rather large suitcase in antro or human form. 

Many assume that newt somehow fits un-proportionality large animals that he helps heal in it.

Biography: 

Newt was always shadowed by his older brother Theseus. 

Theseus Scamander was particularly gifted in the art of human transfiguration- and could hold the form for hours more than normal. 

He quickly infiltrated the ranks of humans and gained rank in the military. He brought home riches no one else ever had in the Scamander history. 

Newt felt cast out and alliterated in his family. With his mother and father pressing him to do something with his life and Theseus somehow always gaining more rank, he fled. 

While exploring the world with little to support him he stumbled across a magical creature.  This creature was the first of Newts now large collection- and one of the ones most attached to Newt. 

Newt realized that he could build a cabin - and build he did.  In weeks there was a small cabin in the mythic forest, but the size was misleading. 

If one entered they would be greeted by a large expansive of land with multiple temperatures. 

Newt flurrished in his new home, and gained some popularity as a animal healer. Creatures and Kebanzus alike would gift Newt with creatures they could not contain or care for. 

Newts collection grew and grew and keeps growing to this day. 

Some say he might be writing a book about his creatures- or maybe thats just another rumor about this relatively reclusive keb.

Residence:

Newt resides deep in the mythic forest. His cabin seems small at first glance but somehow hosts a large stretch of land it in. 

Coming across his cabin is especially hard - and near impossible if you're searching for it with nefarious ideas in mind.

Some believe magic keeps the place hidden from those who wish to steal or plunder his home. 

This does not mean that his home isn't open to all those who need it. Those who are lost in the forest can usually stumble on Newts cabin. 

While Newt might not be the best host he is caring- he'll give any traveler, human or animal, a bed and a meal. 

Friends are always welcome and can usually find his cabin with ease.

Occasionally one goes to find newt and sees an almost empty cabin - lights off and the appearance dusty and abandoned. 

Maybe hes off collecting more animals? Who knows.
