♡ Lunar was already 7 years old by the time her baby brother Rocky was born. She was used to being an only child and getting all of her parents attention. She would try many different things to get back the attention she once received before the baby came around. During this time, young Lunar would start playing with baby dolls and pretending to be the mother she wished she had, thus starting her excitement for parenthood one day. It would be a few years before Lunar would accept the fact she had a sibling.  
♡ Lunar’s best friend was Sapphire. They had their own book club and would sit around reading together and then talk shit about the characters. One day, Sapphire noticed that Lunar had taking a liking this mysterious boy from their class. Sapphire pressured Lunar to ask him out. Then, they got together.
♡ Lunar would notice something off about Eclipse. When she brought him over to meet her family, she asked Eclipse if he had any siblings. Instead of answering the question, he brought out Rocky for some ice cream from the ice cream truck he’d heard outside. That’s weird because..Eclipse is lactose intolerant. Even Lunar’s mother knew something was up.  
♡ Rocky told Eclipse that he was going to name his first born, but Lunar did not hear that. 
♡ Despite all this, they got married. They were very nervous for the wedding. Just as Lunar and Eclipse were about to kiss, Eclipse’s mother blocked the way. The two mothers got in an argument as Silver was pissed that she couldn’t see her daughter’s wedding smooch. Lemon felt entitled to as Eclipse was the only child she could be at their wedding for and that Silver still has Rocky’s wedding to look forward to. Lunar was a bit uneasy that this was how her life was now going to be. 
♡ Lunar got pregnant before the summer and Eclipse was not happy about that, but he loved Lunar so much that he pretended to be just as excited to have a baby. Lunar would spend late nights looking up possible baby names and shopping for baby supplies. Eclipse just sat and watched.  
♡ Lunar invited her parents and Rocky over while Eclipse was at work to catch up on life. She hasn’t seen her bother in a while since she was super pregnant. While joking around that she was married and pregnant while Rocky still lived with their parents (He was 17), her water had broken. Rocky asked if Lunar pissed herself, but she knew it was time. Luckily her parents were there and drove everyone to the hospital.
♡ When Shade was born, Eclipse freaked out as he saw Shade’s newborn body. Still trying to keep his cool, he asked how did Lunar come up with the name Shade. She told him that is was Rocky’s idea.  
♡ Lunar’s 13 year old cousin Stripes was the only one who was home at the time that Lunar’s baby was announced. Since she lived near the hospital, she decided to come and see the newborn. Rocky was telling little Shade how one day he can give him a cousin, but Stripes never will because he thought she was too short to have kids. Just because Rocky said that, Stripes knew she would have kids.
♡ Instead of taking care of his son, Eclipse would be out drinking after work. Lunar would get pissed off that Eclipse would come home late and drunk all the time. He complained he has a lot of work, but parenting is work too. Lunar asked if he even cared about their family, and Eclipse yelled out that he never even wanted a family. At that moment, Lunar packed up her bags and left for her parents house. 
♡ Lunar‘s mental health kept her away from being able to take care of Shade. Lunar’s parents and Rocky were the ones taking care of him. While Rocky was away at college, Lunar decided to give Shade up for adoption. She knew there had to be someone else out there who was more fit to take care of him. She decided to give him a blue bow as a resemblance to her. Then, she took an eyepatch and gave it to him, as a resemblance to his father. 
♡ After going to therapy to solve his issues, Eclipse came back to win over Lunar’s heart and try to be a better father. Eclipse had come back too late as Shade was already gone. He hated that he missed his opportunity and tried everything to make it up to Lunar. She did take him back and then had a new kid, Nighty. 
♡ Lunar never told Nighty about Shade. She wanted to forget him. It wasn’t until when she was in 5th grade that Nighty had a project to create a family tree. She found photos of Shade and begged her parents to tell her who that mysterious baby was. Nighty found Shade and got the families together. Lunar got to see Shade once again. She couldn’t believe how much of a man he was. She met his new parents, and after a lot of awkward conversations, they knew how much they appreciated one another for what they have done. Lunar knew there was a better family for him, and was glad he found them. 
♡ She became like a secondary mother to Shade, she hates that she gave up on him and wants to make it up to him. When Shingle asked her if she had any baby photos of Shade for his childhood collage, Lunar happily provided them for her.
♡ Lunar loves her grandchildren from Shade and Nighty. Not as many grandkids as Shingle got (4 versus 11), but was happy none the less.
