Born a unicorn in the Crystal Mountains, got her cutie mark by performing a magical soothing ritual with crystals to soothe a hurt baby polar bear. The light refracted through the crystals and rainbows lit up the area, keeping the polar bear happy and calm, distracting him from his pains. She later learned a healing spell to help him heal. She practiced her magic with the crystals and snow, and the ponies of the Crystal Empire grew fond of her, and often visited her to take part in her magical healing rituals. Celestia soon took notice, and saw the potential she had to ease the daily stresses of the citizens of Equestria. At night, she aids Princess Luna by flying over the cities of Equestria, dusting mist and lavender that aids sleep across the lands.
