Born to a Goddess of the Underworld (AKA Yomi) in Japanese myth, they've always been the sheltered type, seemingly trapped in a space that feels too claustrophobic. They only wish to break free, to run just like how Izanagi once did, but they'd hate to bring that feeling upon their mother, so they stayed in Yomi.
It took until they were twenty before their mother allowed them to leave Yomi, and they wandered into the Divine Plane without a sense of direction, or knowledge of a world in which they didn't even know they belonged in. A test, they figured, as they ventured out. They were the child of the powerful Goddess of Death, how hard could figuring this all out be anyway? But what Izanami didn't tell them was that everyone was just like what they were: powerful children of deities, and they learned that immediately when they accidentally crossed paths with an ill-tempered soul named Felix who showed them what life was really like in the Divine Plane.
