Tempest ended up pregnant with twilights child after a fling. Since neither could sustain their relationship, Tempest left Canterlot with Vega and raised her on her own. Despite leaving, neither mothers harbor ill will against each other.

Vega, however, has a disdain for Twilight for not trying to be there for her and her mother.

Vega picked up magical combat from a young age and has an interest in weapons and magic-enhancing artifacts. She works as a member of the royal guard in the crystal empire and hopes to become the captain one day!
