 | Checkmate Checkmate is a shape-shifting creature with no form, but she always keeps her pattern as crossed-out numbers no matter what form she takes. She has a habit of walking in circles with her nose touching the ground, as well as chasing her own tail. When not doing anything, in particular, Checkmate will default to grooming her fur and licking her paws. If Checkmate is around, you'll never find a stove left on or a curling iron plugged in. In fact, she'll take multiple trips throughout your house to check every single plug outlet, knob, and stove, and make sure the door is locked, she'll check all multiple times throughout the night, every night, for hours! Checkmate has a cute little habit of cleaning her paws! So much so that they become cracked and bleeding. She always looks like she's thinking about something, but it's nothing new. She usually thinks about the exact same thing every day, over and over again! So ask her what she's thinking she probably won't respond, you probably already know. When others are exploring, going out, or, most importantly, going to check on something, Checkmate will tag along like a shadow. Constantly Thinking |  |
