Bubbly, curious, and kind, but impulsive and naive and grossly lacking in street smarts, Dazzle is a natural optimist and extrovert looking to truly experience the world for the first time after a harmfully sheltered life. She takes her wild magic in stride and wants to prove that having wild magic is not the burden everyone in her life has made it out to be. Unfortunately, it is very easy to trick or take advantage of her and while she is aware of this, he still falls into that pit when caught unawares. She strongly believes that everyone is inherently good, but driven by circumstance to do bad things.

While Dazzle generally tries to keep a cool head, she does scare a bit easily. When under significant stress or emotion she tends to have outbursts of wilf magic, which can sometimes exacerbate the problem. She wants more than anything to be brave and make her mark on the world like her idols.

B A C K S T O R Y

Born under the Infernal name Aakyetha on the wealthy island of Klienfield, Dazzle yearned to be out and about with her siblings and family. In the public eye her birth was listed as a stillbirth in order for the Alpherons to hide the physical proof of their ancient pact with Mephistopheles. Like they've done for generations with their "cursed" kin, they kept Dazzle shut up in the house and homeschooled her in order to avoid piblic "incidents" with her magic — another bloodline "curse" due to the infernal pact. The fact Dazzle was both a tiefling and carried wild magic felt particularly scornful to her parents. She was taught to ignore the immense, chaotic power within her, and was punished severely when she had wild magic surges or used any kind of innate infernal magic.

During her adolescence she would sneak out with her sympathetic sister to see the outside world. It was at this time she took the virtue name Dazzle to reflect her wild, bright magic. She became a bit of a problem child for her parents, being seen in public with Ophela without their knowledge. The abuse worsened, and she would be shut up in her room for weeks at a time. When she came of age she snuck out of the estate with the help of Ophela and never returned.

F A M I L Y

Count Syngreth Alpheron — Father. An incredibly astute wizard, one of many in the Alpheron line. He has prolific status locally, and has served on many noble's councils as an advasor of the arcane.

Countess Delia Alpheron — Mother. A terse half-elf woman, Delia manages the Alpheron's name in courts across the land to ensure their presence is not forgotten (and kept in good standing).

Ophela Alpheron — Older sister. The eldest of the Alpheron heirs, Ophela entered the College of Lore and became a prolific court orrator and public speaker. Unfortunately for her parents, she has shown no interest in the title she would inherit and instead spends her time stoking the political fires of regional courts.

Nael Alpheron — Older brother. The middle Alpheron child, Nael was always eager to please and a dutiful son. He was knighted at 17 and currently serves on his liege's guard. While he strives to do everything to keep his capricious parents' good favor, he has recently reconnected with Dazzle in secret.
