About

Isa is not someone you should take at face value, as she’s very big on keeping her walls up. Who you meet is not who she truly is. She believes in “if they don’t know you, they can’t hate you.”, though she doesn’t always act that way. She leans towards the loners, the ones nobody knows. She cares for all, stoping to help anyone she thinks looks like they need help. She’s more open when she’s in the many clubs she participates in, and when she’s with her close friends.

Personality

Isa, when you get to know her, is a loving person who just wants to see the world happy for once. She will give up her last penny if it means helping her friends. She once housed in of her friends, though she came to regret it as he turned out to be an asshole. She still continues to help her friends, though she’s a bit iffy of housing her friends. She sometimes gets down, especially when people refusing to call her by her name or when they use her assigned pronouns, it’s still something that strikes her hard.

Story Summary

Isa was born in a little town in some abused corner of Texas, though she was raised in the heart of Mississippi. Her parents could tell when she was young that she wasn’t a boy like she had been born. It wasn’t like most stories, were they preferred dresses or dolls, and she got along just fine with the boys in her grade. Her mother always said she knew, and that her grandmother had said she would have a daughter. Abuela’s predictions had never been wrong before.

By the age of twelve she was searching for a name that she felt was correct. In the end her mother helped her pick her name. There were many difficulties she faced, from family not accepting her, to teachers thinking she was being silly. Most of her fellow students were there for her, helping her and standing up for her.

She didn’t fully finish transitioning until she was 21 and was able to have top surgery. This made going into college easier, as by now she had changed her name on all her documents.

One of her life regrets was allowing a former friend of hers to stay with her after they got kicked from their home. They ended up turning on her after they moved out, claiming she was manipulative and attention seeking, despite the fact that she tried to bring as little attention to herself as possible,and had done nothing but support them and used her own earned money to help them.
