Fenderell Once-Blooded

Youngest of his family, Fenderell knew that he had to be the disappointment since his sister was widely considered the best wind mage of their time.
His series of disappointments goes as follows:
- Leaving home to become a known criminal in Kridel.
- Getting turned into a vampire, by accident.
- Getting beheaded.
- Complaining he "looked like a Christmas tree" after his body got regrown, despite Christmas not existing.

He eventually settled down in Mirefield (a dreary town in Suvaria) with Alef, a priest of Fenos (the Suvarian God of Death). Their meeting was rocky, considering Fenderell was very clearly a vampire, something considered a disgrace to Fenos. This was despite Alef also being a vampire. He pretended there was a difference, claiming that "Fenderell was infected by another vampire, I was killed and turned by a necromancer!" but no one's really bothered. Only, like, three people worship Fenos anyway.

They got over the initial rough patch and quickly became good friends. Fenderell eventually claims he "annoyed Alef into falling in love", which no one doubts.

He has to restrain Alef from killing his sister, Althea, when she finds out that Fenderell is still alive and yells at him in his kitchen for two hours.
