Eiro's Mesmerism gauge fills with each [Active] Skill and Command Attack used, up to a max of ten. At that point, Eiro will enter Mesmerism mode on the 11th skill used. Mesmerism massively boosts his damage, but will drain his HP every second it is active, though Eiro cannot die from this effect alone. The effect lasts thirty seconds.
Outside of Mesmerism mode, Eiro's defense and overall elemental resistence increases, scaling off of his combat power by a maximum of 10%.
A young half-elf taken from his home as a child and raised to be an assassin.
Unwanted by either elven or human society, Eiro was — however fortunately or unfortunately — picked up by a wandering human named Mefen, who would later become something of a father figure to the child. Though Mefen had originally stated his intention to raise the boy properly, that didn't turn out to be the case; he simply sought to train an assassin in his quest for power. Chemically blinding Eiro with the statement that "a proper assassin doesn't need eyes", the rigorous training began almost immediately. Good work and kills yielded food and other necessities being given; a lack of discipline or a failed mission meant starvation or sleeping in the cold.
Eiro was essentially "programmed" to be a doll by Mefen, with the command "leave no trace" immediately causing Eiro's thoughts to blank and for him only to follow the objective of slaughtering every enemy in the area. When in this hypnotized state, Eiro becomes impossible to reason with, and will go "all out" to ensure his targets die, even at the cost of himself. After carrying out the command, he has no memory of anything that happened.
Eiro's life as a private assassin would soon come to end only eleven years after his "adoption", when Mefen mysteriously disappeared. After waiting several days for his father figure to return, Eiro sought him out, only to stumble upon a mangled corpse in the wilderness. Confused, lost, and mourning — and not knowing any better — Eiro set out on an adventure to discover the truth behind Mefen's untimely demise.

- Eiro's job path in Lore/Story would be the Yurei path.
- Eiro officially joins the main cast shortly before the quest Water Seal in Hamel, after being caught shadowing the group.
- While technically blind, Eiro can "see" using his sonokinesis, which functions akin to ecolocation. Eiro cannot perceive anything on 2D surfaces such as text in a book or images on a screen, and struggles to discern textures using his "sight".
- Eiro's hearing is so sharp that he's able to tell others apart solely by the sounds of their footsteps or heartbeats. Similarly, he can also tell if someone is lying based on their heartbeat.
- The ribbon in Eiro's hair was a gift from Mefen. This ribbon is discarded in all of his routes save for Eidolon, which is the only route in which Eiro continues to live thinking that Mefen was a good man.
