Personality: A very honest girl, who wears her heart on her sleeve. If she really likes someone, she can come off a bit clingy at times. She has a lonely nature deep down, so she tries her best to reach out to others constantly. She's not very fond of most boys, only really tolerating the boy in her group. For the most part she tends to ignore them, but if they're the loud AND obnoxious type, it's not uncommon to see Hotaru tell them a thing or two about themselves (lol). She's very encouraging and supportive to her loved ones, her loyalty levels are very high. Especially for her little sister, there isn't much she wouldn't do for her.
Hobbies and Notes:
- Loves to cook. Hotaru and her sister do all the cooking at home, it's a hobby the girls both share. Hotaru enjoys doing the more tedious detailed work when it comes to cooking.
- She's also part of the volleyball team. She's not the most spectacular, but her teamwork and optimistic attitude while playing make her a popular teammate.
- She's a lesbian, and has no intrests in men what so ever.
- She really loves fruits, especially oranges and apples. She enjoys lazing around with her sister, in their kotatsu, while eating.
Noteable Relationships:
- Yua Hirano: Her little sister. Hotaru would do just about anything for her little sister. Despite her own dislike for men, she's very encouraging to her sisters own persuit to happiness, including her interest to Yuuma. Their parents work late into the night, so the two sisters are in charge of many things at home, usually having the place to themselves. A lot of the times they take turns cooking, sometimes even cooking dinner together. Despite their good relationship, Hotaru sometimes pulls out the 'big sister' card on Yua, usually to tease her lovingly. At home they spend their whole time together until they go to bed, usually doing things like homework or watching tv together.
- Kagami Konishi: The girl that she has visions of and also envisions. Prior to the story, the two never talked much. Hotaru being one of the oldest in the class, while Kagami being one of the youngest. Despite this, once the visions start up, Hotaru attaches herself right away to the younger girl. She goes out of her way to be there for Kagami, even offering to walk to and from school together with her. She loves picking up Kagami, a rare thing for her, since usually Hotaru is the smaller one. Hotaru can tell that Kagami just really needs someone to reach out for her, and that's something she's more than willing to do. Despite Kagami being a little rough around the edges, she never really pushes Hotaru away.
- Azami Fukuhara and Shinji Akiyama: The girl and boy that sit in her group. The three of them are the oldest ones in class, thus grouped together. They've been stuck together for a long while now, so the three of them know each other rather well. She loves how cheerful and bubbly Azami is, finding her to be absolutely adorable! They both do sports as well, so they see each other outside of the classroom as well. Shinji is the only boy Hotaru takes the time to talk to. His knowledge in fashion, as well as him constantly keeping up his looks, gives them things to talk about. It's very common for the three of them to be slacking off in class, usually with Shinji doing the girls nails.
