a runaway chimera demon beast from nightmare enterprises who lives way out in the countryside (rural west dream land.) they're a anthro lion chimera thing but they keep their monster form under wraps and also literally only interact with 5+ max people on a regular (aka their only close neighbors in a large radius), so nobody knows. they’re around their mid-thirties, but appear to be much younger since that’s how their species handle aging.
ponoka isn't really involved with the main starstruck storyline featuring the other characters, but they're in the same universe (and on the same planet) regardless. they're 'friends' with yamikage, meeting him after he fled from kirby and basically started living in an abandoned cabin that ponoka often passes by. its complicated for understandable reasons
