A unique Zircon and the only gem in the Empire who manages the Empire’s equivalent of marriage. Goldenrod acts as an officiant (using the name of Dusty Bixbite as the authority) to authorize the union of two gems based on the Empire’s standard of what they consider marriage to be. She’s the light of gems’ lifes, bringing people together in the name of love, while her counterpart, Flax Zircon, handles divorces. Goldenrod is a very sweet gem, however under it all, there might be something darker.

- That something “darker” is the fact that Goldenrod is very influential in the underground world of the Empire since she knows secrets about gems that many do not. She also might be the reason a few gems are now shattered.
- Goldenrod herself is “married” to Flax Zircon, and since marriage in the Empire is mainly just rank sharing, it’s just to make sure the two are on the same level.
- She has a vast wardrobe, and when she unites gems in holy union she always can be dressed for the part.
- She has a fondness towards pearls, while she doesn’t own one herself, she has a personal wish to have at least 3-5 one day.
