An expert duelist and ruthless hunter. She relished battle and wandered endlessly seeking adversary. To fight is a pure, true form of competition that she adores.

Scilla went where whims and wind took her, and had no true allegiance to any cause save herself, and perhaps, the few who she cared deeply, if ineffectually, about.

Scilla was born the daughter of the druids of the Viridian Banner, a wood elf clan in Silang. She had three older sisters and two younger brothers, and showed an early aptitude for fighting and hunting. When she became of age, she married the chieftain's son Hir'shael of the Carnelian Banner in a grand wedding alliance that merged the two clans. They had a daughter together, Shir'aal.
CRIMSON BANNER
Shortly after Shir'aal was born, there was a dispute between her clan and the Crimson Banner that resulted in the deaths of several Viridian and Carnelian clan members, including one of her sisters and nephews. Against both her parents and husband's knowledge and wishes, she retaliated by killing the entire of the Crimson Banner clan in a day and a night. Later, she suffered a miscarriage of a child she did not know she had - something her clan attributed to her sins - and to repent, she was confined to her and Hir'shael's homestead, and forced to practice solely healing craft and spirit worship. The rest of the clan were forbidden to speak to her until 'the spirits deemed her atonement complete'.
THE KNIGHT
The clan happened upon a wounded knight, Eve Trentmarche, and nursed him back to health. After spending some time together, and perhaps, due to a mixture of gratitude and pity, Eve offered to take her with him. She accepted, and they left together without informing anyone in the clan. They travelled together for many months, eventually reaching the Trentmarche estate, where their son, Erik, was born. After a year, Scilla parted with Eve amicably, leaving him with Erik.
BESTIES
She spent a long time travelling, hunting, exploring, and honing her skills. She sometimes fought with bandits or alongside them, and would sometimes participate or follow battlegrounds. At some point, she eventually crossed paths with a High Elven fugitive named Meraen, and they travelled together in what was probably her first and longest comparatively healthy platonic relationship. After Meraen settled in a village, she left again to explore larger cities.
