HISTORY/BACKGROUND

  • Part of a highly intelligent species of animals (?) that roam the pine forests
  • Was captured by the previous king and kept as a pet, given nice things and lots of food but abused pretty badly
  • Learned how to speak from being around people, however he was only able to say very basic things at first and was hard to understand
  • Eventually got tired of the abuse and ate the king, taking over the kingdom for himself
  • After becoming king he focused on learning how to read/speak/write among many other things
  • Very strict about being a fair and compassionate ruler - wants to undo what the previous king had done
