Ressha

Tethered to the place her beloved was killed, the demi-hollow that wailed looked very little like the girl she once was. Gaping hole in her chest and eyes white as death, she was chained to a train track and forced to relive how he died. She screamed and screamed, each time the train whistle blew.

As her agony peaked, so did her spiritual pressure, so much so that the Soul Reapers Rukia and Renji appeared almost immediately to answer the call of danger.

When she saw Renji, she was reminded of her beloved, and her rage was quelled just enough for Rukia to break her free of her chains and whisk her back to the Soul Society. She was nursed back to health, despite several of the Gotei 13 Captains voting to destroy her.

When she was able to speak, they asked her name. And when she did not remember, she called herself "Ressha", meaning "train", to forever remind herself of what she lost and the fear that holds her.

After Sosuke Aizen's betrayal, she was captured by his men and brought to Hueco Mundo, where she was manipulated and brainwashed into believing the Captains were planning to kill her. She was tortured, forcing her hollow form to over take her and awaken her Resurrección, which Aizen plans to use to overthrow the Soul Society.
