For how much she hates him, leaving Adam behind is Emma's second biggest regret. She still can't get the look on his face out of her mind.

Adam is an aggressive, unpleasant young man with a knack for picking fights. To his credit, he's quite capable of ending them too, due to the punches he packs. A good scrap distracts him from the problems he can't solve with hitting. He's quite clever despite his chosen meathead persona, and also enjoys wordplay, literature, and academics.

He's one of the first victims of the zombie apocalypse, but his story is far from over. Left for dead, but not forgotten.
