If someone wanted to be kind about how Lara looked, they would call her striking. If they wanted to be truthful, they’d say she walked the knife edge of terrifying and plain. Her nose had clearly been broken- in one direction and then later, the other. It could be assumed that would make her nose straight, but it only made the wave to it more pronounced. Tanned skin, ever-raw chapped lips, and hair that could have been pretty curls were it not somehow dry and greasy at the same time, frizzy and wild. Her eyebrows were thick enough to give her a permanent scowl, compounded by the dark rings under her sickly-green eyes. The rest of her face was a patchwork, healed scars pulling her skin in opposite directions, across her face, down one side her lip and up through one of her eyebrows. Perhaps one of these features on a face would be handsome, but all of them made Lara’s face something muddied and startlingly candid.
Lara was built wide, all shoulders and recently-gained weight, with barely a curve to her. Though she stood at barely under six feet tall, she held herself taller. She planted her feet wherever she was, like a dare. “Come try move me,” the tension of her spine seemed to say. “It’d be funny.”

Design notes
- Lara is broad and has no real curves- she's very muscular, but it's all from recently gained weight.
- Lara should NOT be drawn as pretty. She is supposed to be visually striking but not traditionally beautiful.
- Lara has a multitude of scars which are detailed on her scar map. Some important ones that are easy to miss are the scarred finger-tips, and the shrapnel scars on her temple.
- Lara's hair would be curly if she took care of it, but because she doesn't, it's wavy and either greasy strands or matted clumps.

Lara's Queer-Platonic Partner and also the witch to her familiar. Theo and Lara have very different outlooks on life and personalities, but they're both sorta assholes, and love each other fiercely.
Lara thinks Dann is the funniest little shit in the world due to their lack of a verbal filter and tendencies towards brutally honest insults made on accident. They have a strange, almost antagonistic friendship, and Lara feels almost responsible for Dann, despite being the same age.
Anaïs, the unstoppable force, meets Lara, the immoveable object. Lara is consistently the advocate for realism, and Anaïs deals with her problems in a way that Lara doesn't understand, and vice versa. They grate on each other, but when it comes down to it, respect each other.
