Marc has a strong sense of curiosity, and whenever he got curious about something, he is determined to not give up until he had learned the truth of it. At this point, his curiosity is on the anatomy of Unbleeders. Despite being a medical student, the few courses offered by llawes were not enough to satisfy his curiosity. His curiosity is what spurs many of his decisions in life, in fact.
A side effect of most decisions being spurred by curiosity, though, is Marc’s lack of sympathy. In order to achieve his goal, Marc does not care who or what he has to work with or do.

Marc was born to a fairly well-off family. His mother was a doctor while his father stayed at home to care for him. Though his mother was often busy due to work, she still tried to spend as much time with him as she could. She caused him to become interested in the medical field, and he vowed to get into medical school one day.
When the star fell, though, Marc’s interest in the medical field was shifted to Unbleeders. Knowledge on the anatomy of these beings was rare, and even as a medical student, the courses given were few and far between. The only option to learn about them properly was to join llawes.
And so, as soon as Marc graduated, he did. As one of many young people working in llawes, he strove for excellence, trying to rise to the higher ranks in order to gain access to more knowledge about Unbleeders.
This is his situation today, still working hard to impress the higher-ups.
