♡ Personality - He's shady and quite the tricky sort. He's also extremely untrustworthy... with exceptions, for a price. Mars likes to intimidate others with his size and length, though he can get impatient to the point of giving up if it doesn't work out in his favor.
♡ Appearance - Mars is an abnormally long salmonid in shape. His teeth are jagged and uneven, and his fins have changed to be rather wing-like, with what used to be his "leg" fins having been recycled into a dorsal instead. He doesn't grow any hair anymore. His underbelly is covered in hardy scales from an unspecified ancient creature.
♡ Background - Originally a salmonid, he was spliced with an ancient (American) eel in Charybdis Labs. Despite what would normally be a traumatic experience, Mars became a strangely shady and slippery character, slipping into a life of crime. His past from before the lab is covered extremely well, as he refuses to talk about it and has taken advantage of his sudden "disappearance" to cut ties with his old life.
In terms of what exactly he does, Mars is one of many sellers for the black market, acting as your typical backstreet merchant. He namely offers things like information and connections, but he may occasionally have physical treasures up for offer as well.
- When being double-crossed by a client, he brings his long black body out of the surrounding shadows to restrain and suffocate them-- typically to death.
- If one were to look at his files, they'd find out that he was one of Scylla's later patients who'd 'donated' himself to science for the money. Mars did not make it out while Jellsica was evacuating patients.
- Tends to walk like a snake and swim like he's flying
- His habit of adding an extra "s" in his dialogue was something he forced in on purpose. It's purely there to mess with people and freak them out.
- Has absolutely no care for other Salmonids- just if an individual has something he wants and how much it would take to get it from them.
- Doesn't have any minions or goons or anything and will refuse requests for apprenticeship (not that anyone should want to work with him anyways). Even if he can dispose of them easily, he doesn't trust anyone to get things done right.
