ASH

ash is probably my first oc to exist, ever. he is so important. has gone through so many redesigns .

Ash is a prince in the realm of Gargoyles which were originally brought into existence to protect humans from other spiritual/supernatural beings, but as a result of a giant fight between kingdoms prompted by King Alphonse, a division lead to a war between sides. So now Ash resides with his father, King Alphonse, where his goal is to live in solitude with his kingdom- basically. They've got their reasons. Ash is a stoic, calm collected character who is caught up in so many responsibilities & past troubles he doesn't know how to handle. He has a complicated relationship with his family; things are usually quiet and tense between them. Whatever Alphonse says, goes. 

Ash's species of Gargoyle means that they are supernatural manifestations of physical gargoyle/grotesque statues in the human world. They exist purely due to magic and their world functions on magical properties. Gargoyles have cold, hardened grey colored skin- variations of color exist as well but they are mainly stone grey. Some Gargoyles are made from other materials such as marble or crystal and are usually higher ranking than the others. Gargoyles can have horns, tails, wings, extra appendages, etc. There aren't a whole lot of limitations.
