umber is a solitary babu normally. very introverted. he actually gets rather timid in crowds and hates big events for this reason. he enjoys spending time in the basement where he plays with his model train set. trains are one of his favorite hobby's and he Has a large set up collected, complete with tiny trees and silvery babusagi figurines in his tiny train town. long as you don't mess with his set or derail his trains your welcome to play with moving the trains forward and backward around the winding tracks.
despite being an introvert umber doesn't live alone, he lives with his mate delila. the two met while hiding from a party they had been invited to, neither of them had wanted to be there but found comfort in each other and eventually left together to get dinner. they would often go out together and visit various food places, umber hasn't been one to be a food lover before he met delila but seeing how much she enjoys it hes embraced it, trying to help her cook as terrible as he is at it. he doesn't understand how she can get such decisive things from food as the connoisseur she is but he enjoys listening to her either way. they can find a good laugh in judging wine and often go out to drink tastings together for fun.
now that he has delila he doesn't wear his mask as much and if he does he tends to move it over his ears so that you can see his face. he loves the thing though and still try's to bring it everywhere with him. he feels like it gives him a seance of invincibility when you cant recognize his face, a feeling which helped him be a little bit braver without delila being there all the time. he doesn't mind that others may find it weird to wear a Halloween mask year round.
he has more things that he enjoys aside from trains, hes found that he enjoys dancing as well and has tried to get delila into it as well, though she is not very good at it he doesn't mind and gladly withstands the paw stepping. a few of his smaller favorites would be the color yellow, coffee, and he actually likes Christmas the best. despite how he looks he feels like Christmas is the best because of how cheerful it is and how few people you'd see outside on Christmas day. he likes to take delila out to dinner on Christmas instead of opening gifts and they both enjoy doing this together as there own tradition. hes actually taken to wearing bells soon after the first snow fall's. he actually enjoys hot chocolate more than coffee during winter months, especially peppermint and red mints. he often buys a big bag of red mints and keeps them in dishes around the house such as the kitchen and his basement. however he doesn't seem to understand the concept of reindeer, how could a deer fly or why does this babu had such big spikey horns.
