beatrice monroe was a joyful girl. she loved to make jokes and play tricks. however, her jokes often involve suffering. because of this, her friends thought that her humor was quite unusual. she laughs at people who gets into minor accidents or anything that involves pain. sometimes, she could get a bit too far with her jokes resulting to fights and/or drama. she often wasn't taken seriously aswell, since she was also considered as, "the boy who cried wolf." 

5 - 16 - 1998 was the date when she went missing. she was last seen at the park after she attended her brothers' birthday party. search parties were sent, and spent 4-6 months trying to find her to no avail. Because of this, the towns' policemen had to pause the investigation due to the other occurring problems. half of the people presumed her as dead, while the others hoped that she was still alive. 

however, a child then reported that she was still alive and that they had seen her at the lake. They went out to check, but there was nothing, making the statement false. weeks later, a couple reported a body deep in the lake and that it was covered with grass and stones. they investigated this and by their surprise, it was beatrice.

the case was then closed 2 days later after informing her family. when her brother, james, knew, he started visiting the lake often where his sisters' body was found. it was unusual for him to do so since he wasn't into nature. one day, his parents then decided to ask what he was going to do at the lake. he said that he was going to play with beatrice again and ran off.
