Dianna has long white-blond hair, the top of which is pulled back typically with a bow. She typically wears very tailored, yet simple clothing with slight heels. Dianna has six runes tattooed into the inside of her arms and one over her breast bone. ᴄᴏᴍʙᴀᴛ | Wielding a giant mace and a book of spells, Dianna is quite adept at both physical and magical combat. Low defensive capability when not weaving defensive magick. ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ | Dianna is shy and has a tendency towards quiet thoughtfulness when she is not close to someone. She can be self-serving, obsessive, and distracted by her thirst for knowledge and must be snapped out of it. Can often throw a fit if she does not get her way, but is passionate about doing good work, doing good and is extremely hard working, much to her own physical detriment at times. Extraordinarily reckless with herself to the point of being self-destructive, but becomes furious with others if they do the same. In the company of those she is comfortable with, Dianna can be witty and charming, but easily overwhelmed if she feels cornered. If there are other people involved she would rather take a smart way out of a situation, than to fight. ʟɪᴋᴇs | Books, Estinien, Y'shtola, magic, Matoya, wine, soft beds, learning, reading, studying, old ruins, beautiful sights, porxies ᴅɪsʟɪᴋᴇs | camping, worms, bugs of any sort, vulnerability, open water, ᴘᴏsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛs | intelligent, awkward compassion, ɴᴇᴜᴛʀᴀʟ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛs | stubborn, shy, ambitious ɴᴇɢᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛs | reckless, temperamental, ʙɪᴏ | As often with magic sought out and deemed inappropriate, or too dangerous, by Sharlayan standards, Dianna's parents were thrust out of Sharlayan for their heavy experimentation with aetheromatic flow and the disruption of it by using primal energy. From what she remembers, they wished to use old Allagan notes to manipulate aethercurrents and bring about a new way of communicating with primals. Largely regarded as mad, her parents were exiled from Sharlayan and narrowly escaped the secret sort of execution that might have befallen mad scholars of their caliber. Dianna, harmed in their various experiments, including the loss of her eye, was passed between several Sharlayan families, til she eventually ended up in the care of Matoya, far far away from the island itself. Matoya took pity on the girl and allowed her to study with her, but often times sent her for scouting, ruin-hopping and spelunking for find new books, new information, and anything else the old woman did not wish to seek out herself. When Y'shtola became Matoya's apprentice instead of Dianna, she left on her own journey and returned filled with her own passion for blending ancient runic magicks and the study of magic from other worlds. Matoya warned her of dabbling in such magick, and to take great care with it, but Dianna set to display her benevolent intentions and joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn so that she might free herself from the heavy and infamous reputation of her parents, and to do good in the world where they failed so violently.
