THE FIRBOLG WILD MAGIC SORCERER + HEXBLADE WARLOCK

The illegitimate daughter to the fourth heir to the MacLeod line and a handmaid, Bonnibell was raised by her commoner mother and her maternal family in the lord's fields, sequestered away from her birthright. The duke's family looked down on her as the bastard blight on the family name, the grand mistake of their rakish son's lust and impropriety. They wanted nothing to do with her. They barely even regarded her beyond the "serf girl who plays amongst the little lords". Even then, those in the know didn't tell their little lords and ladies that the young and wild Lass they romped with was their cousin. She was the dark secret of the MacLeod family and they were sure to keep it that way.

Eventually, magical powers manifested within a young Bonnibell. Chaotic bursts, unprovoked and without warning. She was not sure how she was even casting seeing as how she never learned any spells. But somehow, fire would burst from her fingertips. Claps became thunderous booms that blasted people away. Suspicions arose amongst the servants which reached the ears of the MacLeod's: the bastard Lass had inherited the MacLeod gifts of the Arcane. It was undeniable she was a MacLeod. Their arcane superiority from birth was often molded for their place in court, however, very few of the MacLeod heirs possessed it. So, the matriarch MacLeod and grandmother to Bonnie attempted set her up with tutors, trying to pull her from the fields and into the parlors and studies to be groomed into a suitable 13th heir. From lessons in magic to lessons in etiquette to lessons in history, economics, poetry, dulcitone, speech therapy, ballroom dancing and many more fit for a lady in training. She was kept within the castle from dawn till late in the night. The stuffiness of the aristocracy and royalty with leering eyes and gossip became a bit uncomfortable for the simple farm girl, coupling with the long hours of training her to not be herself. It became suffocating.

So she started skipping lessons. Dodging and hiding from the guards that would approach her family's small cottage on the fields to escort her to the castle. Of course, she was reprimanded for her insolence, but she didn't care. She hated being thrusted into royalty. As weeks turned to months, the guards became scarce. It almost seemed as if the royals were satisfied with her disinterest in her birthright. There were no more obligations. No more expectations. Bonnibell could resume her life, however, she still wanted to learn more about her power and how to manage it, maybe even harness it. Just . . . without tutors and schedules and lessons. With a few connections with other servants and one tutor who saw great promise in Bonnie, some magical tomes and spell books happen to go missing here and there.

Bonnibell was eventually remembered and requested of the high family to fetch one of the Princes, her scoundrel of a cousin, Vincent, after he had been away for too long. He was on a weeks long adventure through the continent, leading him to Pale Bank. She was instructed to drag him back home so he may return to his duties. It was the first time they asked of her since the "little lady lessons." However, be it her obligation of blood, servitude, or the worry of the duchess, she accepted and was sent to track him down. Once she had located him in the winter town -- amidst an ambush -- she gave him a swift kick in the pants to sent him home. However, those he had accompanied were set on a quest, now missing their fifth. Looking to them, striking out on their own in a grand adventure, she was compelled to join. Especially with it being her time away from home, she was not quite ready to go back to the fields or face her family. She wanted to have her own grand adventure. And so, she asked if she could take her cousin's place in the party and they accepted.

Together, they are set on a glorious quest to unlock the secrets of the Jewel of Three Prayers as Gond's Greatest Ginger Minge.

However, their adventure has taken them on a perilous journey, made more perilous with the impulsivity of Bonnibell's magic. She eventually realized she had become a danger within the party and stopped casting for a time with the fear of harming her friends. She became insecure about her place in the party as the main caster, trying to learn how to handle her life without magic. A forced trip to the Abyss when called upon by her demon patron resulted in a power-grab for her soul, she learned to accept she is magical and needs to cast to protect her friends, but be certain to not harm them in the process.

RELATIONSHIPS

ARALETH: fellow firbolg & party member. Usually the voice of reason and often trying to reel in Bonnibell's antics. She is more of the mom-friend, taking care of the group and trying to avoid getting blasted by one of Bonnie's wild magic conditions. Bonnie recognizes she is a nuisance to her with her impulsive decisions but girl's gotta do what girl's gotta do.

TOREVIR: dwarven party member and surrogate father figure. He often tries to school Bonnibell on religion and the "grace of Gond," but it bores her to death. However, his lecturing has aided her in her "religious" pursuits as a warlock. Although he is disappointed in her choice of patron, she knows she can still rely on him.

LEOVOLD: elven party member. He was like normal but now he is blue? Bonnie gets along with him but after being deceived on his real identity, she doesn't know if she can trust him. After an impulsive workaround an entryway that had left a majority of the party cursed by Bonnibell's hand, Leo punched her. Having grown tired of her lack of thinking. She resents him for this but also herself.

MARON: another elven party member. She was a late addition but more than welcomed. Maron is very cool and has bees. She seems to not be as judgmental towards Bonnibell's decisions as the other party members.

VERINher lover. Bonnie instantly fell for the hot Aurora Watch taskhand. And he reciprocated! Although a little rocky at first, she got her romance and her man. He seems to be the only person who doesn't see her as a nuisance or that her casting is a mistake or a liability. She misses him dearly while she is apart from him, sending him letters daily with updates (whether they actually send or not).

CONNOR: ex party member and now temporary patron. Bonnie admired how he could bash and brain people even though it really traumatized her as a very new adventurer, green and fresh out of leaving her home. She sent him off on his new life by transforming into a werebear. He has since died, having reunited with him in a short little trip to the Abyss to reclaim Bonnie's soul from her demon patron. A celestial offered with their escape an opportunity for her to have a temporary patron and grant Conor salvation. Bonnie accepted and now has murder hobo as her new supplier of magic.
