Origin: before being turned into the demon he is today Snowdevil was a normal snowdragon called Blizzard. Snowdragons were a people created by the goddess Aurora to keep her company in the cold north. Her people worshipped her and loved her but Blizzard decided he would try to deceive her in order to gain power for himself. He love bombed her, bringing her all the offerings she could wish for as well as constantly complimenting her. Aurora was a rather naive and lonely goddess. Most other deities had a sibling or partner they were close to but Aurora ruled the tundra alone. She was longing for a partner of her own so she decided to return Blizzard's advances and turn him into the demigod of snowstorms so she could be close to him. He would pretend that he loved her, but would manipulate her behind the scenes to give him more power without really giving much in return. Aurora being eager to please, gave him the ability to shapeshift and the ability to attract prey for their people. This made him very popular amongst Snowdragons and they started to worship him more than their creator Aurora. This made Aurora sad and she started to wonder if mortals truly deserved being served by the gods. However the nail in the coffin was when she overheard Blizzard boasting to the people how he had tricked her and that he had now grown to be more loved and important than her. This made her snap and she smited blizzard, casting him down, the snowdragon people crowding around his body in worry. However they soon watched in horror as Aurora revived him as a monster. His scales had turned from white with night sky blue markings to black with bone white markings that glowed bright with anger and his eyes had turned from bright Azure to blood red. He grew in size and strength and let out a monstrous roar before he started slaughtering his people as Aurora had "programmed" him to eliminate every single snowdragon he came accross. Many Snowdragons were killed but about half managed to flee. In the ruins of the village, Smowdevil made his territory and slumbered under the snow. His ability caused it to flourish with wildlife which in turn attracted desperate hungry snowdragons who he eliminated as soon as he detected them in his territory. After 10 years, remaining snowdragons had all passed the story to their kin that it was foolish to go to the ruins even if it was full of food and so they went into hiding from their wrathful goddess and her demon. As no more people crossed his territory, he fell into a deep slumber for the next hundreds of years
The incident: Snowdevil was one day abrubtly awoken by the smell of someone entering his territory. It wasnt a snowdragon..but still..he was hungry and angry to be woken up. He arose from the thick layer of snow he was burried under and came face to face with a child, running for his life. Snowdevil attacked the child, pinning him down and ripping off his wings and consuming them. He then left him to bleed out in the snow, intending to return later to consume the rest of him. However when he returned, there was no sign of him. This greatly frustrated snowdevil but after months of trying to sniff him out, he had to give up and go back to slumber. Five years passed and he was once again awoken by a smell, but this one was much more exciting. It was the smell of a group of snowdragons. He came out of his snow den and encountered a pair of emaciated snowdragons and their two children, desperately feeding on some caribou. Snowdevil went in for the kill, and though the parents fought hard, they were quickly killed. Snowdevil then moved on to their children but as he tried to snatch them the older brother in his rage furiously attacked snowdevil's face and gave him his scars. This caused snowdevil to be temporarily blinded and the kids ran off. It took a few days for snowdevil to recover, feeding on the dead carcasses to regain strength, but once he did he was both fuming with rage and overwhelmed by his need to eliminate all snowdragons. So he tracked the siblings and stalked them. Sometimes he would catch up but frost was so fierce in protecting his sister that snowdevil always ended up with painful injuries that needed days to recover, allowing the siblings to gain some distance again. The siblings were so desperate to get rid of snowdevil that they started to travel down south to a tropical island. These tropic temperatures left snowdevil in a daze..

Basics are: ancient snowdragon turned demon who somehow ended up on Isla Dracon and near Auros city (the city thorn resides). Thorn encountered him, they had a scuffle where thorn pinned him and showed him who's boss and ever since then Snow has been utterly and completely devoted to thorn and would gladly lay down his life for thorn to protect him from harm. He will follow any order from thorn, being both his guard and attack dog, as well as an emotional support dog that makes sure thorn doesnt overwork himself too much and takes breaks. While Snow is capable of understanding all that is said to him and even has the capacity to speak, he rarely talks and if he does its usually only a few simple words at a time. He prefers to communicate through body language and noises and is in general very animalistic in nature. He is mostly driven by instinct and also isnt the brightest tool in the shed. He is easily confused/tricked though you will never be able to trick his sense of smell. His nose does not lie and he can easily identify and track scents, even if they are faint.
While Snow is dangerous and can and will absolutely eat your face if thorn would order him to do so, he also is a huge silly goober who is gentle with the people left in his care. He loves to go on walkies, run around, play with toys and receive all the pets and scritches from thorn and his employees. He also is an absolute glutton for treats and giving him one is the fastest way to get him to soften up on you. He will eat most of anything but his favorite treats are fish (especially salmon), bones/chewy snacks, frozen snacks, and anything smelly that he isnt supposed to be getting into.
During the holidays, Thorn enjoys putting him in silly costumes and have sable take photos of him to put on the casino's social media page. Snow isnt the biggest fan of this but he will do anything for thorn so he tolerates it. Plus, he always gets a nice treat after so it's forgiven.
Snow can turn into any animal he has seen before, be it in person, in photos or in video. However he does have tells. The animal will always be abnormally large for it's species/breed, have a black coat with lighter skeletal like markings, have red eyes, the same scars as his dragon form and they often have an underbite and sharp teeth/enlarged canines/tusks. Thorn just decided on a rottie for snow's main disguise as he thought it would be a suitable breed for him to be seen with as a powerful mob boss.
More info:
-Snowdevil wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with but after boasting about his powers, Aurora took away most of his intellect causing him to act very animalistic, driven by instinct. He is also very dumb, stubborn, obsessive and impulsive making it hard for him to let things go and learn new things.
-he has an outstanding sense of smell, able to track things easily
-The nickname Kerberos and Kerby are mostly used for his Rottweiler form. It’s used to hide his identity of a (cursed) snowdragon seeing how his species is thought to have gone extinct.
-can be a big doofus under the right circumstances and treatment
-has a very strong bite
-can shapeshift into any animal he has seen either in person or in pictures. Thorn just settled on a rottie for his disguised form.
