Ransom is someone that doesn't take back-talk from anyone. He is ruthless to those who wrong him (or even glance at him the wrong way). He isn't openly violent though. He's more likely to belittle and berate others, before swinging. He isn't the one to get attached, his former job made it so, that anyone could have been the next target. His upbringing, or lack thereof, made it hard for him to confide in anyone, even his siblings.
