Limonium perezii (Sea Lavender, Statice) - A 3 foot tall tough perennial with a woody rhizome holding a basal rosette of 1 foot long triangle-shaped rounded leaves held on long petioles. The inflorescence is a branched panicle that rises to 18 inches about the foliage with red stems and flowers that have purple calyces and white corollas.

This flower appears delicate, but is actually quite hearty. Each stem has a spray of flowers that contain several small clusters of tiny papery blooms. Limoniums are the most famous "everlastings" due to the dry, papery nature of their flowers valued by arrangers and crafters through history. The name for the genus comes from the Latin word limonion used by Pliny for a wild plant which came from the Ancient Greek word 'leimon' meaning "meadow". Other common names include Sea Lavender, Seafoam Statice and Marsh Rosemary.

This annie is quiet and super sweet, she received her blessing as a very young age as she was always in tune with nature. She particularly loved small and delicate flowers, she found them to be a reflection of her self. She spends most of her time is gardens and caring for plants, she considers them her family and sometimes she even kisses the flowers.
