After years of experiments being done on it, the once calm spirit has been transformed into something beyond recognition. The Fog is a moralless, unbiased animal that kills without warning or reason. It, along with the endless heads it posesses, scream and shout endlessly. It's easy to know when it's near, as the sound of hoarse cries and sobs can be heard in the distance.
No one 's really sure what its deal is. No one knows what it was in the past, and those who've lived through an encounter with the beast are wordless and frightened.

As storms and tornadoes became more common on Makamae Island, certain residents went out to try and salvage the remains of their ruined homes. There, things like claw marks and black ink were painted across certain places. In some instances, survivors would recall that the storm seemed to track them down, intent on tossing them into the air.
Certain theories have floated around the island. Most survivors describe the storm as a mass of trashing paws and claws, as well as three blacked-out faces that gnash and bite at anything they can grab, or consuming anything in their way. Either way, the onslaught of dangerous storms and hard-to-see-through mists doesn't seem intent on leaving anytime soon. Residents of Makamae island are cautious, and seldom wander into the foggy marshes without a lantern on their person.
