When Xiaoyu first woke up on a windy cliff beside the volcanoes, one thing was made very clear to her: She had lost all her memories and would not be allowed to stay in the realm of Maroveni any longer. Taking pity on the young girl, the kind-hearted figure who had rescued Xiaoyu presented her with a lifeline. She was to accompany them on their travels across realms, serving the role of a bodyguard. Headstrong and unwilling to give up just yet, Xiaoyu gladly accepted the offer. Things did not go smoothly, however, and Xiaoyu found herself abruptly torn from her gentle master during an accident at sea. Attempts to contact them were met with confused, unhelpful responses, and Xiaoyu has since resigned herself to the fact that it would be faster for her to settle down somewhere safe and wait for them to come get her. In the meantime, Xiaoyu is taking on the role of a travelling doctor and offering her services as a cleric of Bahamut to anybody in need whom she might encounter.
