It's agreed upon that he's a bit shady and keeps secrets, though this is likely mostly caused by his prior position as the royal torturer. It's… Not really clear to outsiders what he does now other than follow Ender around like a guard dog and be very, very vocal about anything and everything.

He's very possessive of things and people he likes, something he actively tries to be better about as he knows it's ugly, but really it's just in his nature after everything was taken away from him. Tension with his brother Mark has mostly faded and he's terrified of losing that bond again.
