Recluse had always been exactly what he was labeled as; a recluse.He grew up alongside Sirocco and Sandstorm in the Scorpion Den, training as a Talon of Power from childhood. Sandstorm had always had more of a liking for Sirocco, even though Recluse liked her. He became possessive over her, and when she encouraged his behavior, his personality only got more unhealthy.
When they grew up, Sirocco was destined for great things; in Recluse's eyes, Sirocco was all the more better than him. Recluse became angry and snappy. He took his anger out by doing violent things, and he found that he quite enjoyed violence.
Recluse was determined to be better. He climbed the rankings and became one of the Talon of Power's best members. He was stealthy and persuasive, and he was good at pretending to be what he wasn't.
While on a mission one day, he came across a pretty SilkWing named Fleur. He instantly took a liking to her, and their relationship became similar to his and Sandstorm's, even though the SilkWing did not know. Recluse became unhealthily obsessive and even lied, pretending he was into some of the things Fleur was into. He tried everything to get Fleur to like him. It is possible that he was overcompensating for his and Sandstorm's failed relationship.
Outwardly, Recluse is charming. He seems optimistic, empathetic, and sweet. He's clever and has a sense of humor. Many dragons find it hard to dislike his personality.
However, this face is deceitful. Recluse is obsessive and power-hungry, and he is not afraid to murder to get what he wants. He is cruel and manipulative, and prone to gaslighting. Recluse is a pathological liar. He pretends to warm-hearted and kind; he is everything but that.
Recluse does not know that he has some NightWing heritage. His scales are darker and his wings have faint, pale stars in them.
Recluse still has affection for Sandstorm.
He is very tall, taller than average.
