"Things have sure begun to get interesting."
Duchess is the High Sage for one of the seconday tribes, Khadena.
When the Ancients came home from their Heatswell hideaway, Duchess was the first one to come into contact with LITR under official standards. She served as their main consultant regarding research on Ancient Vrillores.
PERSONALITY
Duchess is overly stoic and unexpressive.
She has a soft spot for a small amount of people, her wife Countess being the main one. Many people describe her as cold and uncaring, but those who have been treated as a patient to the High Sage caught a glimpse of her nice side. Despite her offputting demeanor, she does care for others.

BIOGRAPHY
The beginnings of a High Sage
Duchess was formed and grew up in the Leivana Archipelago. She only left to live on the mainland after choosing to pursue being a High Sage, determinded to study under a very specific High Sage from the secondary tribe Khadena.
What had made her set on becoming a High Sage was the loss of the closest thing she had to a fathure figure. He was a High Sage himself, when she was on the verge of death he was the one to come to her aid. Before she could ever try to repay him for all he had done with her, he had passed very suddenly under unknown circumstances.
Love strikes
Duchess met Countess when she was visiting the primary tribe on official business as a High Sage.
The work she was visiting to complete came with extended periods of time spent with Countess, but not that she was complaining. Duchess took a while to warm up to her at first, but once she had gotten to know her she was absolutely smitten. Just before Duchess had to leave back to her own tribe, she made sure to leave a very clear note with Songcaller directions. The two kept in touch through written letters, and after a few months finally started dating.
Duchess and Countess got married after being together for 6 years.

Her wife and light of her life. Duchess absolutely adores Countess, and is one of the few people who she's truly nice to.
