Estrella Skybreak (AKA Strell) is a young woman employed by the ECHOES Exploration League to document the unknown reaches of the galaxy. She has grown up idolizing her ancestor, the founder of the league, and is seen as “the second coming” of her revered ancestor. However, the expectations placed upon her and her own idolization of someone she perceives as perfect have grown to affect her negatively. Desperate to live up to her family name, she is incredibly dedicated to her work and takes it very seriously, at times to an unhealthy level. She is a perfectionist at her job and holds herself to a high standard. She is reserved and calm in most situations, meticulous in her documentation and note taking for her work, eloquent and personable in her speech when working with others, and proper and poised in the way she carries herself. However, when situations get intense or her adventures throw her into mortal danger, her persona drops off and reveals a much harsher and more brutal version of herself, desperate and determined to survive no matter what it takes and will fight tooth and nail to. At her heart though, she is a kind and inquisitive person fascinated and enamoured with the universe and all of the weird wonderful things within. In times when she is able to relax more and can be herself, she is less uptight and more easygoing, able to joke around with people she feels comfortable with and speak freely. She loves talking about her interests and can easily trail off about radios, mapmaking, or bats if given the chance. While she’s not partial to violence, she still needs to defend herself “just in case” and carries an antique spyglass around with her that is able to convert into a large shock bazooka. It’s as heavy as it looks, but Strell is able to wield it with ease. She enjoys Victorian era style and fashions, owning a varied wardrobe of it herself. She never wants to appear out of sorts on the job, so she dresses rather formally (but still functionally).
