• His anatomy is loosely inspired by the gorgonopsid Inostrancevia—and he's named after Nikolai Stavrogin from Fyodor Dostoevsky's Demons (bonus fun fact: I hate Nikolai Stavrogin)
• Stavrogin can navigate through snow very well; he has a third, clear eyelid that protects his eyes from the glare off snow and ice
• He seems to be associated with Bingley, another unidentified furry creature, somehow—perhaps the two are old friends from the days of yore
• His secret skill is being able to roll his tongue into the cloverleaf shape, which he enjoys impressing his fellow creatures with 

• He has a bulky build, especially around his shoulders and upper body 
• His canine teeth are longer than average and the ones in his upper jaw are longer than the lower ones
• Although his claws are non-retractable, you don't have to draw them if it's a stylistic choice
• He has paw pads—they're the same colour as his inner ears and tongue
• He does not have a canine nose

Stavrogin is a bold, somewhat strange creature who loves socializing and going on adventures … or dragging his fellow creatures out with him. He is a quick learner and loves trying new things, especially if they seem risky or even dangerous. He is blissfully unaware of his own mortality and the mortality of others, which gets him into trouble sometimes. Although his species is unidentified, there seems to be a lot of large creatures like him that he can haul out to go exploring (see: Bingley). He loves socializing and is definitely somewhat of a "pack animal," always choosing to be around others whenever he can. He's not very fond of being alone or having no one to talk to.  Despite his strong, intimidating build and affinity for jumping into dangerous situations, he's a pretty friendly creature. Stavrogin often forgets that other critters can't navigate snowstorms like he can, but that won't stop him from encouraging them to try … he doesn't have a lot of buddies who will explore mountains or tundras with him.
